Your Information
We automatically collect non-identifiable data through the Websites (such as IP addresses, browser characteristics, device characteristics, operating system, language preferences, referring URLs, information on actions taken on our website, and dates and times of website visits). TruthMap is committed to ensuring our Users’ privacy. Your personal information is gathered only when you share it with us on the Websites. Personal Information includes: Name, any identification numbers, location data, or online identifiers.
Direct Personal Information
Direct personal information is collected when you purchase products or services or register to attend an event by providing us with information such as your name, email, address, and payment information. Because the Websites provides users with the ability to communicate with other users and publish public commentary by posting content under the “Comments” sections, it is strongly recommended that you carefully monitor the information which you choose to share when posting content under the “Comments” section for any given product. TruthMap regularly monitors such information under the “Comments” sections, however any Personal Information that you post in any “Comments” section may become a permanent part of the public domain. You are advised to use caution when posting anything other than Product-related comments under any “Comments” section.
Testimonials
We display personal testimonials on our websites. With your consent we may post your testimonial along with your name. If you wish to update or delete your testimonial, you can contact us at info@truthmap.co.
Referrals
You can use our “Refer a Friend” button to tell a friend about our websites. We will need you to provide the friend’s name and email address. We will automatically send your friend a one-time email inviting him or her to visit the websites. TruthMap stores this information for the sole purpose of sending this one-time email and tracking the success of our referral program.
Service Providers
TruthMap uses the services of technology consultants and CRM vendors. When these consultants or vendors are given access to the information you have provided to us, these service providers are contractually obligated to provide services in a manner consistent with this Notice. All of our employees, agents and contractors must have a business reason to obtain access to your Personal Information. We also share any Personal Information as needed with those who help us manage or provide our message boards, statistical analyses, data processing, and order fulfillment.
